Happy New Year!

A look back at 2009 (in no particular order):
  • Jared and Maddie celebrated their 2nd wedding anniversary and welcomed the cutest Hadley Jane (really Hadley was born on Dec 16, 2008. That's almost 2009)
  • Cammie and Bart watched Baylee turned 9, Hayden turned 7, and Mason 4! 'Ona, a sweet kitty, and Libby, a fluffy puppy are now apart of the family -- much to Missy's chagrin. Cammie has a great new job and the coolest office!
  • Tracey is still traveling the USA -- hanging out in the pool house.
  • Miles is now in Lexington. He is working and thinks going back to school doesn't sound like such a bad idea after a year of manual labor.
  • Jim, Leslie, Addie, and Aiden bid farewell to Canada. Now they are all settled in Colorado in a beautiful new home much closer to Ryan, Rick & Glenda, and Granny!
  • Rick made it through the year with all of his remaining fingers which makes Glenda very happy! (I couldn't resist!)
  • Ryan is happy to have Addie and AJ to play with - he's a great uncle. Its also been discovered that he has some sort of mystical power over Baylee and Jade.
  • Karyn and Harry have a new dog named Sophie. She's a cutie with more energy than Karyn & Harry put together!
  • Troy, Kelly and Jade are great. Jade was in a school play and almost learned to drive a car at age 11!
  • Ben is strong and healthy. Ready for a new year of med school.
  • Granny has settled into a new home. Making friends, baking cookies, going to painting classes and bible studies. Thanks to Harry and Ben, she is back on her computer!
  • Carey and Kathy are adjusting in the trailer with their kitty. Thankful to have spent much time in CO with Granny and all. (Get it? They are insurance adjusters!)
  • Danetta moved back to Amarillo. Going to school and working. Oh, to be young again!
  • Granddaddy went to heaven to hang out with Jan. I wonder if Granddaddy is talking Jan's ears off?
  • We had the first ever Girls Weekend. It is officially a tradition now --- so get ready girls!
2009 was full of changes for our family ~~~ some good, some sad. I am ready to see what changes 2010 holds for our family. Whatever happens, I'm thankful that we have each other.

Happy New Year!
